How to Utilize Wind Powered Electricity to Save Money!

Using a small wind turbine is an ideal way to save money on your electricity bill. Not all homes can make this investment. Wind turbines are not ideal for urban homes, or small-lot suburban homes. But in other types of homes, wind turbines can help lower your electricity bill by 50 to 90 percent! Some people have boasted of only paying $8 on their utility bills over a course of nine months! Many homes in the Northeast and Midwest have wind turbines, and residential wind turbines are available to be installed in 47 states in the United States.

By installing wind turbines, your home is still connected to your local utility company. However, as long as the wind speed is about 10 mph, you will almost never need to actually be using any electricity from anywhere BUT your wind turbine. And that type of electricity is virtually free! Not only that, but using wind energy is good for the environment.

On average, a wind turbine can cost as low as $6,000 and as high as $22,000. It all depends on its size, application and whatever service agreements the manufacture has.  But this investment is worth it for many.  And with the money you’re saving on utility bills, your wind turbine would pay for itself within six to 15 years. On a longer-term view, investing in a wind turbine can increase your property value – think of it as a home renovation project.

Wind turbines are very reliable and do not require regular maintenance. On average they are built to last up to 20 years and they require no batteries or charging – they simply work as the wind blows.

Start decreasing your utility bills by up to 80% by simply utilizing solar panels and wind electricity within your home.
