If you really want to build a successful online business from home that will generate revenue for you both now and in the future you are going to need not just an ordinary web site but one that makes you money.

Before we even begin to build a website what you are going to do is write down all the things that interest you. Stop for a cup of joe and sit down and write this list. No matter how silly you think some of your ideas are write them down anyway. The longer the list the better.

Once you have constructed your list you will now go to your computer and start to research forums relative to your interests. All you have to do is type the keyword into google along with the keyword forum. Once you have done this you want to see how busy the forum is, in other words how many views there are on any given topic.

Once you find a busy forum on a topic of interest you are going to start investigating what these people are looking for based upon there questions. What we are looking for is a hungry market of people who need solutions. The more demanding and frustrated their questions then the more hungry they are.

Once you have achieved this you will then start to search keywords people are using to find products or information relative to this market. You can use Overtures keyword tool for this or googles keyword tool. Once you find a keyword that makes sense and has a lot of search volume then come over to google and type in the keyword in quotes.

At this point we want to see how many web pages are competing for this keyword – the less the better. The objective is this – once we find the right keyword you are then going to get a domain name that contains this keyword. When you have that now you are ready to build a web site around the theme of this keyword.

For example let’s say I started out with travel then I noticed a lot of people on the travel forums had questions about Bermuda cruises. I check this keyword and I notice a lot of people search for it and it has very little competition. Then I go register a domain such as ExploreBermudaCuises.com. The broader theme of the site will be about cruises with the main focus on Bermuda cruises.

Now you may not have any technical skills but don’t let that stop you. There is website builder out there that takes care of all the techno mumbo jumbo and prompts you a long the way to building a web site that will come up on the first page of Google for your desired keyword. All you have to do is provide juicy valuable content for your site visitors.

Then sign up for advertising programs such as Google Adsense and so on – then join some affiliate programs. There are also lead programs where companies will pay you if somebody signs up for more information.

Our first goal is to make a $1 a day then when you have achieved that then move onto five, then 10 this would be $300 a month in no time. Just focus on the daily increments. When it is believable your mind can focus on it much better. Keep adding projects to your site that make $1 then $5 the $10 then $20. Just focus on this not the $100′000 in a year. Keep your head down and focus on the achievable steps. As soon as your site projects add up $285 a day you will be making $100′000 a year.
